Tzvetan Tzvetkov elected President of the National Audit Office

Tzvetan Tzvetkov is the new President of the National Audit Office of the Republic of Bulgaria. The National Assembly voted for his candidature with 146 votes “yes”, 1 votes “against” and 21 abstentions.
Tzvetan Tzvetkov was sworn in.
According to the new National Audit Office Act, in force as of 13 February 2015, the National Audit Office consists of president, two vice-presidents and the two members. They are elected by the National Assembly for a term of 7 years. The president may not be re-elected.
