Prof. Georgi Ivanov

 

He graduated from “D. A. Tsenov” Academy of Economics – Svishtov, in “Accountancy and Internal Control”.

Georgi Ivanov is Professor in Economics. His entire career is related with the Academy.

In 2004 - 2007 he is Chair of the Control Council in the Academy. In 2007-2011 he is Director of “Center of Quality in Education”

Since 1988 till now he is Lecturer and Head of Department „Control and Analysis of Economic Activities” in the Academy.

Since 2003 he is member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA). In 2003-2007 he is Member and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Managers of IIA.

He is member of the International Institute of Internal Auditors (The IIA).

He works under projects engaged with internal audit of financial management and control systems and systems for quality management, assessment of the internal control effectiveness etc. He has also worked under international projects and programmes – USAID and TEMPUS.

The National Assembly elected him Member of the National Audit Office of the Republic of Bulgaria on April 9, 2015.

 

 

 

Emil Evlogiev

 

He graduated from the “University of National and World Economy”, Master’s Degree in Economy.

He has long professional experience as Accountant, Deputy Chief Accountant and Chief Accountant in production plant – RMZ Ilianci.

He is Chartered Public Accountant and Certified Auditor since 1995.

Since September 2002 he is Vice-President of the Control Board of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Bulgaria .

In 2005 he becomes President of the Control Board of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Bulgaria.

In April 2011 Emil Evlogiev is elected for Vice- President of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Bulgaria and in April 2014 he has been reelected for a second term. His reponsibilites comprises the cooperation between the Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Bulgarian National Audit Office.

The National Assembly has appointed him six times Member of the Commission responsible for the audit of the BNAO annual financial statements.

Emil Evlogiev is author of 8 books in the field of accountancy and of more than 200 publications related to accountancy, audit, tax, privatization, etc.

The National Assembly elected him Member of the National Audit Office of the Republic of Bulgaria on April 9, 2015.
