Delegation of NAO of China visited BNAO

Delegation led by Dr. Sun Baohou, Deputy Auditor General of the National Audit Office of the People’s Republic of China,  visited BNAO from 13 to 17 September 2012 г.

The delegation met with the President of BNAO Prof. Valery Dimitrov, the Vice-Presidents Valeri Apostolov and Tzvetan Tzvetkov and directors of audit directorates.

The topics of discussion included review of the activity of BNAO, audit standards application, internal control system and preparation for the 2013 INTOSAI in Beijing.

Also, the delegation met with Ekaterina Michaylova - Vice-President of the National Assembly, and Menda Stoyanova - Chair of the Parliamentary Budget and Finance Committee.

As the supreme audit institution of China and one of the ministries of the State Council, CNAO is directly under the leadership of the Premier, organizes and administers audit work of the whole country and reports its work to the State Council.
 
CNAO headquarters has an authorized establishment of 712 persons with 16 functional departments.
CNAO has also established resident offices in China’s 18 largest cities with an authorized establishment of 2,680 persons.
 CNAO joined the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) in 1982 and the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) in 1984 respectively.
